The Ennerdale SAPS are investigating case of murder which took place at Beatrice Street in Finetown on October, 8. It is alleged that a 61-years old Zimbabwean national was given accommodation at a certain shack in Finetown while the owner was sleeping at her mother’s house.
It is alleged that the woman’s boyfriend came and found the foreign national in his shack and started assaulting him
The deceased was found with very serious injuries on his head, face and the body.
The community on hearing the story, attacked the man with all sorts of objects and was rescued by the police.
“The deceased was declared dead on the scene by the paramedics and was taken to Sebokeng Government Mortuary. We are investigating cases of murder and attempted murder,” Ennerdale spokesperson, Captain Molefe Mokoena said.
The injured suspect is currently under police guard in hospital and no arrest for mob justice have been effected.
