Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of an unknown adult African male that was found lying next to a footpath near the Anglers train station on Thursday, July 5 at around 1pm.
A passer-by alerted the police to the existence of the body which estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old. The deceased was found wearing a brown pair of trousers, blue work suit top and a pair of safety boots.
“The South African Police Services is urging members of the public who might be missing a loved one or whose whereabouts are unknown to contact Lenasia South SAPS on 010 230 1010 so that proper arrangements can be made in order to identify the deceased. The South African Police Services is currently investigating a case of inquest,” said Lenasia SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Khalipha Mvula.
