Law enforcement agencies have intensified their fight against crime; they are in all corners of the city, with the sole aim of eradicating crime.
On February 14, their efforts bore some fruits after they recovered a stolen truck in at the Nirvana Drive and Protea Street intersection. It is understood that the truck had been hijacked in Mpumalanga last night.
The perpetrators had been turning onto Nirvana Drive from Jewel Street when it’s trailer got unhitched blocking the one lane. CPF members found the suspects in the truck but the suspects are said to have fled the scene. Traffic was severely affected and motorists advised to avoid the area.

JMPD, CPF together with some patrollers worked tirelessly to monitor the traffic.
The recovery of the truck comes hot off the heels of two other hijacked trucks that were found in the area since January.
Some community members are adamant that, there might be a syndicate operating within the area.
