A 69-year-old woman was beaten and tied up in a house robbery.
The woman came under attack on Thursday, February 8 at her Honeysuckle home. According to police three armed men accosted her while she was in her yard. The woman was taken inside her house and her hands and feet were bound with shoe laces.
The suspects ransacked her house and made off with a handbag.
“Her screams alerted her neighbours who came to her rescue. No one has been arrested at this stage but investigations are continuing,” Captain Hector Netshivhodza, spokesperson of the Lenasia SAPS said.
