A man was arrested for truck hijacking on Tuesday, January 30.
According to police, the suspect, along with two accomplices hijacked a truck at a bedding factory in the early hours of Tuesday.

They held up the security guard, who was sitting in the truck, with firearms and ordered him out of the truck. He was then tied with electrical cables.
The truck was then pushed out of the yard through a fence and kick-started before the suspects fled.
“The suspect has been charged with truck hijacking and will appear in court,” said Lenasia SAPS spokesperson, Captain Hector Netshivhodza said.
