A 17-year-old boy remains in hospital after being shot three times during a fight which is said to have started outside a Lenasia School on Friday, September 8.
The youngster is reported to have been shot with a pump action gun.
It is alleged the youngster was making his way home after school when he and friends got involved in an altercation with two brothers outside the school.
The youngsters left the school and drove home. When they parked at one of their homes, the brothers are alleged to have also arrived. The brothers are said to have started shouting before a physical fight ensued, leaving the 17-year-old injured.

He was taken to hospital where he remains with injuries to his leg. He has since been put in a cast.
Police spokesperson, Captain Hector Netshivhodza, confirmed that they had arrested two suspects, aged 17 and 18, for alleged attempted murder, The Star reported.
“They have been released on bail. The brothers have also indicated they want to open counter-charges Investigations in the case are continuing,” Netshivhodza said.
Gauteng Department of Education spokesperson, Steve Mabona, said they were worried about cases of violence reported at schools.
