Mostafa Makhlouf (21) is being sought by the Johannesburg Central SAPS for kidnapping his own child. Makhlouf is an Egyptian National; he fled with his one year old daughter on September 4, in Mayfair, where the toddler resides with her mother. The suspect could still be in Mayfair or the surrounding areas.
The father was no longer living or seeing the mother’s child when the incident occurred.

“The suspect went to her place of resident to see the child. He took the child from her mother and went outside of the house; he jumped into a gold Peugeot 206 and drove off at high speed. As he sped off, he knocked the grandmother of the child while she was attempting to stop him,” said Captain Xoli Mbele of Johannesburg Central SAPS.
He added, “Police are appealing to the community; anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the suspect to contact the Johannesburg Central Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit’s Constable Matshata on 083-438-8475”.
