A 90-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in Vanderbijlpark on Sunday, February 26.

The woman was found by her daughter lying on the floor of her apartment. ER24’s Werner Vermaak says police were on the scene for further investigations.

“When paramedics arrived and upon assessment they found that she sustained multiple stabbed wounds. Sadly, there was nothing they could do for her and she was declared dead on the scene,” Vermaak said.
The matter was later handed over to the police for further investigation.
