A 50-year-old woman was found dead at her house at Lenasia Extension 9’s Scorpio Drive on Saturday, July 30. The gruesome discovery was made by daughter who found her lying in a pool of blood in the dining room. According to Constable John Serala of the Soweto West Cluster a baseball bat was also found in the living area with blood stains on it.
The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage. Police are investigating a case of murder.
“We are on the lookout for the killer. Anyone with information that will help with the case should report to their nearest police station,” said Serala.
