Police have launched a manhunt for a man wanted for rape in Lenasia.
According to police, the victim, a woman, was on her way home, when she was accosted and held up by an unknown man next to her house.
“The suspect threatened her with a firearm and took her to an open veld in Lenasia where he raped her,” said Constable Serala of the Moroka SAPS.
Any person who can assist the police in identifying the suspect should contact the investigative officer, Detective Sergeant Ntombi Masango, on 078-144-7684 or 011-986-9172.
