Police need assistance in locating a man who recently kidnapped and raped a woman.
“The woman was walking down the Protea Glen road (close to Lenasia) when she was approached by a man driving a white VW Polo. The driver asked for directions to a certain house in the area,” said Constable John Serala.
According to police, the victim jumped into the vehicle because she thought the house (the man was looking for) was near to hers.
“The suspect abducted the woman and took her to his room where he raped her. He kept her until the next day,” added Serala.
A case of kidnapping and rape has been opened.
