It is alleged that on Monday, December 5 at around 3pm, the home owner was at his place of residence in Vlakfontein extension 3, when two unknown assailants came looking for the deceased.
The two assailants allegedly waited inside the deceased’s house while the victim was taking a bath. It is further reported that an altercation ensued between the two unknown assailants as well the home owner over monies due to them by the deceased male, and in the process the home owner whose age is still to be confirmed was shot multiple times and he unfortunately succumbed to the injuries at the crime scene .The suspects allegedly used a white Toyota Tazz with unknown registration numbers as a getaway car.
Police are appealing to members of the community to come forward with information that will assist in speeding up police investigations and to eventually bring the perpetrators of this crime to book .Anyone with information can share it by contacting Crime Stop line on 08600 10111 or the MYSAPS app .
