Lenasia SAPS is investigating a case of business robbery and is appealing to the community to assist with any information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.
Lenasia SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Bafana Ndimande, said, “An African female alleged that she was on duty with her three colleagues at the South African Post Office in Lenasia Extension 13,when two unknown African males entered brandishing firearms.”
Sgt Ndimande added, “They pointed the firearms at the security officer and ordered him to lie down on the floor. They tied his hands and proceeded inside the manager’s office. They demanded money from her, and she opened the safe. They took cash and other items, and drove away in a getaway motor vehicle, a White Volkswagen Polo with registration number DN 14CY GP. No shots were fired, and no injuries sustained.
