Police responding to a complaint at Thembelihle informal settlement (Lenasia) found an unknown African male lying on the street with bruises to the upper body. The paramedics were summoned to the crime scene and certified the victim dead. The pathologists transferred the deceased to Diepkloof Government Mortuary. The motive for murder is unknown at this stage. Lenasia SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Ndimande urged community members to come forward with any information that can help in resolving this case to contact the SAPS National Crime Stop line at 08600 10111 or Lenasia Police Station (011) 213-6045/6 or (011) 213-6057.”
