On Tuesday, January 1, an 18 year old suspect was arrested for an alleged sexual assault. It is alleged that the suspect gained entrance to the victim’s house in Chiawelo, through a window. The 17 year old victim allegedly awoke to find the suspect on top of her, kissing and fondling her private parts. The victim screamed and and was assisted by her neighbours. The victim stated that she did not know the suspect.
The suspect will appear soon in the Protea Magistrates Court.
