The Soweto West SAPS Cluster arrested three men, aged between 23 and 25, for possession of dagga on the afternoon of July 11, in Greenvillage, Doornkop and Protea Glen Extension 11.
Police Crime Prevention Unit members were patrolling the area conducting stop and searches when they arrested a 23-year-old man in Doornkop, who was found in possession of four paper packets containing dagga.

“They also arrested a 24-year-old man in Greenvillage who was found in possession of a plastic bag also containing dagga. The third 25-year-old man was arrested in Protea Glen Extension 11. He was found in possession of six paper packets also containing dagga,” said Sergeant Vincent Mashiteng of the Soweto West Cluster.
“The suspects will appear in the Protea Magistrates’ Court on charges of possession of dagga.”
