A 50 year old man has was arrested in connection with the brutal murder of a Lenasia South resident at the weekend.
The gruesome discovery was made by a passerby in a veld along the K43 in Lenasia South on the morning of Saturday, June 9.
The body was found wrapped in a duvet cover with his hands and feet bound by rope. A string was found around his neck and duct tape indicated the man might have been gagged.
According to police the deceased also had multiple stab wounds on his body.
The man was killed elsewhere and dumped in the area.
The police’s Mpanda Khoza says the motive for the murder is being investigated.
