On Thursday, October 5, a 74-year-old woman was found dead in her house in Lenasia Extension 13.
“Lenasia police were called to a house in the area at 9am, and on arrival, found the woman dead in the house,” said Captain Mokoena of the Ennerdale SAPS.
According to Mokoena, the old lady was found with her hands bound, neck tied and gagged with clothing to stop her normal breathing.
“The deceased clearly looks like she was strangled. We also found that the doors of the house were not broken and force entry is not applicable.”
