A man was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money on Wednesday afternoon, October 14. The robbery took place in Falcon Street, opposite Park Primary School.
According to the man, who did not want to be identified, he arrived at his gate and saw two men sitting on the floor. He says he did not think they would rob him.
He got out the car and opened the gate to drive through. He says the two men waited for him to open the gate, and as soon he drove in they also walked in.
When he got out the car and turned his bakkies engine off, one of men pulled out a gun and pointed it at him.
“The guy said to me I must put my hands up and remain quiet,” said the victim.
The other man who did not carry a gun, began to search the victim’s pockets. They found an undisclosed amount of money.
One of the culprits was wearing blue overall and left it in the yard.
The man says they walked out and were picked up by a red Toyota Tazz.
However, the robbery was not reported to the police.
