A 24-year-old man was shot in the buttocks in a robbery on Tuesday, October 6, in Lenasia Extension 10’s Orange Street.
The family was watching TV when four unknown armed men entered the house.
The men gained entry to the house through an unlocked door in the lounge.
The suspects ordered the family to lie on the floor, faced down.
One of the victims screamed for help causing one of the robbers to retaliate by shooting the other victim in the buttocks. One cartridge was found at the scene.
One suspect stood guard at the door whilst the other three suspects ransacked the house.
The suspects escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, cell phones and jewellery.
