The long arm of the law managed to reunite a child with his parents at the Johannesburg Central Police. The child had been missing since December 21, 2016,
The mother of the kidnapped child, who was separated from the child’s father, was of the firm belief that her 5-year-old son was kidnapped by the father’s girlfriend.

Johannesburg Central spokesperson, Xoli Mbele said, “It is alleged that when the father took the boy from his biological mother at Rietfontein Muldersdrift, on December 16, he was accompanied by his girlfriend. The father left the child in her care when he went to work, and when he came back the child was nowhere to be found”.

The investigation led police to Kwazulu Natal.
On January 14, the girlfriend was apprehended at Isipingo Taxi Rank. She took the police to Eshowe in KZN, where the child was found to be.
