A 26-year-old man was arrested after he was caught with drugs at a house in Lenasia Extension 4.
The man, described by police as a North African, was caught with several small packets containing crystal meth.
“On Wednesday, January 4, SAPS members attached to the Johannesburg K9 Unit responded to a tip off concerning drug dealing activities that were alleged taking place at the house,” said Sergeant Khalipa Mvula of the Lenasia South SAPS.
“The suspect was arrested, charged with dealing in drugs and detained at Lenasia South SAPS.”
The suspect appeared at the Lenasia Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 5. However, the case was postponed.
