A 39-year-old man was stabbed to death at the corner of Koedoe and Honeysuckle Street in Lenasia Extension 2 on the evening of Monday, September 26. According to Sergeant Khalipa Mvula of the Soweto West Cluster, the man was walking with three acquaintances when an argument ensued resulting in a stabbing.
“At this stage it is unclear what the men were arguing about,” said Sergeant Mvula but the trio fled the scene and were later arrested in Lenasia.
“The deceased sustained multiple stab wounds and the suspects, aged between 15 and 22, have been charged with murder,” added Mvula. Investigations are continuing.
The suspects appeared at the Lenasia Magistrates’ Court on September 27 and the case was postponed for further investigation.
