Abrar Ahmed Jibhai ( 26) who went missing on Sunday, August 21, was found dead along the Golden Highway.
According to reports, his cell phone was off and his vehicle was left in his driveway, at his home in Lenasia.
Jibhai is a teacher at Sir John Adamson High School in Winchester Hills and was reported missing after he did not report to work for a few days.
His body was later found by a passer-by who alerted the police.
“We received information about a dead body lying next to the Golden Highway in Lehae with several wounds. At that stage the victim was still unknown to us. Upon investigation, we found that the person was Abrar Ahmed Jibhai who was reported missing.”
“The motive for the murder is unknown at this stage and investigations are continuing,” said Captain Netshivhodza.
Police are investigating a case of murder.
