A 40-year-old man was killed after being shot while driving. The incident occurred at the corner of East and Golden Highway in Devland earlier today.
Diepkloof SAPS spokesperson, Captain Phephi Matlou, said, “The deceased was a supplier to a local butcher and had collected an undisclosed amount of cash before. While on his way back as he approached the corner of East Road, shots were fired at the victim, who lost control of his vehicle and collided with a truck. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.Robbers fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. No arrests have been made and police investigations are continuing.”
