The Lenasia police have launched a manhunt for the perpetrator/s involved in the kidnapping and rape of a minor in Lehae in May 2020.
Lenasia SAPS spokesperson, Captain Hector Netshivhodza said, “The perpetrator grabbed the child while she was playing, and forced her into an unknown black and white car. He then went to an open field and raped the minor. We request anyone with information that can lead to his whereabouts to assist us to bring the perpetrator to book.”
Cpt Netshivhodza added, “Any information can be shared with Sergeant Masago from the FC Soweto on 078 144 7684. Let us fight gender base violence together and curb women and child abuse.”
