The Lenasia SAPS management and the Community Policing Forum, would like to wish all communities around their policing area a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Furthermore Lenasia SAPS would also like to thank everyone who participated in making sure that the community and their properties were safe throughout the year.
As Lenasia SAPS we encourage everyone to continue in joining hands with the police to fight against our own common entity, which is crime. In consideration of the crime rate for 2015 and the previous years, this year we tried by working very hard together with other Law Enforcement Agencies in reducing some of our problematic crimes.
Though some of the crimes rates increased, in 2016 we would like to see all the stakeholders from government, NGOs’, and other community based organisations to fully participate in fighting crime in Lenasia.

- When going on holiday make sure that someone is looking after your house.
- Do not walk alone in an open veld. Be aware of your surroundings at all the times when driving or walking.
- Keep your hand bag and jewellery safe.
