Ward 58 Councillor Alex Christians condemned the incident, “The shooting outside a place of worship is unfortunate. Without going into why it happened, I call on SAPS to work hand in hand with JMPD to ensure more visibility in our ward which is the most diverse in the country. This will ensure proactive policing and reduce such acts as seen from the stats released by JMPD on Monday. May the Almighty keep us all safe”,he said.
