The South African Police Services is investigating a murder case following the death of a 24-year-old man who was shot and fatally wounded by an unknown suspect in Vlakfontein Extension 3.
According to information that is available to the police, on Tuesday, October 23 at around 8.15 am, a tenant who was inside his backroom overheard his 24-year-old landlord talking to someone unknown to the tenant.

“Suddenly he heard four gun shots going off; he allegedly left his room to investigate where the gunshots were emanating from. He then found the body of his landlord lying on the driveway with gunshot wounds on his upper body. The motive behind the murder is not known at this stage,”
Police are appealing to members of the public to come forward with information that will assist during police investigations as well as successfully arresting the perpetrators of the crime.
