On August 5, Johannesburg Central Police arrested a 32-year-old male security guard for attempted murder at Braamfontein railway station.
Johannesburg Central spokesperson, Captain Xoli Mbele said, “It is alleged that the security guard shot a 25-year old man once in the upper body. The motive for the shooting is not yet known. The victim was taken to hospital by an ambulance. Police confiscated a firearm used in the commission of a crime. An investigation is underway.
