CCTV footage caught the moment two youngsters were hijacked in Lenasia Extension 3’s, Statice Street, on Sunday, February 25.
The video, which has been making its rounds on social media, shows three men approaching the youngsters, in a BMW from both side of the vehicle.
The occupants then moved to the back seat and one of the hijackers jumped into the driver’s seat and drove off.
The victims are said to have been dropped off in Eikenhof, unharmed. The car tracker which was removed, was also found in Eikenhof.
Police are investigating a case of carjacking. Nobody has been arrested at this stage.
