Once again, residents from the Thembelihle informal settlements took to the streets on Monday, January 22 in a service delivery protest.
Motorists were advised to use alternate routes after protestors barricaded the K43 at corner Bangalore and K43 and corner Volta Street and K43 have been blockaded with burning tyres and rocks.
Police and the JMPD are monitoring the situation.
