Community members are urged to avoid Mint and Central Road in Fordsburg, following the CIT heist in the area.
It is alleged that armed suspects fired a police officer injuring him. The injured police is being airlifted to the nearby hospital. It has also emerged that a community member was also shot.
The suspects are exchanging shots with the law enforcement agencies.
“The area is declared a no go area. Traffic is crazy. Most roads are blocked,” said a source.
