On October 7, a community patroller stumbled upon the body of an African man estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old at Meriting informal settlement, Lenasia South,” said Sergeant Mvula.

“The deceased had three gunshot wounds to his head and to the upper body, and appears to have been hit with rocks”
The deceased was wearing a pair of black pants and a tracksuit top.
“Police are investigating a case of murder. Any information from the members of the public that would assist police in their investigations would welcomed,” added Mvula.
