On August 28, Zimiso Michaeal Kunene from 1998 Thedza Street in Soweto went missing at 7.20am.
Zimiso left home for school, but he never reached his destination.
The 8-year-old attends school at the Klipvalley Primary School in Doornkoop, in Soweto.
The boy frequently visits his aunt residing at 1106 Clerandon Heights Bruce and Quartz 2 Street, in Hilbrow. However, he is not with the family.
His family and police are pleading with community members who might know his whereabouts to come forward with the information.
Sergeant Vincent Mashiteng said, “Zimiso was wearing grey trouser, a white shirt, grey jersey and black shoes when he was last seen. He could be around Soweto, Hillbrow or the surrounding areas.
“He was reported missing at the Protea Glen Police Station and a missing person’s case is being investigated.”
Sergeant Mashiteng urged community members with information to contact the Investigating Officer, Sergeant Daniel Mosehla, on 071-675-9571 or 011-086-9272.
There is no waiting period to report a missing person.
