A motorist was hijacked on the N12W off-ramp, which connects to Abu Asvat Drive, next to Lenasia on August 11.
“At about 1pm, the perpetrators exited a silver vehicle and hijacked the victims at gunpoint,” said a source.
According to the source, the suspects escaped with both the get-away-vehicle and the victim’s metallic green Audi A6, 1997 Model with registration BP33BSGP.
The vehicle does not have a tracking device.
“The suspects fled, head towards Midway, Soweto, direction,” added the source.
The victim managed to make his way to Lenasia and was safe.
In a separate incident, a grey Golf 1, with registration FV 30 XK GP was stolen in Lenasia.
“Suspects were dropped off by an Opel Corsa. The Corsa proceeded towards Soweto, however, the Golf drove towards the Ennerdale/Lawley area.”
