A man was arrested after he stabbed his 43-year-old girlfriend and three neighbours at Eldorado Park’s Extension 1, on October 12.
According to Saaberie Chishty Ambulances, the woman (43) died from the fatal gashes. Her neighbours, in their attempt to assist the woman, were turned upon by the perpetrator who went into their flat and ruthlessly stabbed a 4-year-old boy who was asleep, his grandmother and an uncle.
The boy who was stabbed in the back, was transported to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, by Saaberie Chishty Ambulances.
His granny and uncle sustained serious stab wounds and were transported to hospital by provincial ambulance services.
The suspect was apprehended by community members and handed into police custody.
At this stage the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown. Police are investigating.
