A family in Lenasia Extension 3’s Lobelia Street lost an undisclosed amount of money, three cell phones, a wedding ring, a tablet, jewellery and hard drive to armed robbers who bound them hand and foot on Friday, July 29.
The crime took place around 3.30am, when four men, armed with firearms, a crowbar and a bolt cutter gained entry via the window. Once inside the robbers held up the family and thrust them into one of the rooms. They were then bound and covered with blankets.
After ransacking the house the robbers made off with their ill gotten gains.
Police are investigating a case of house robbery.
