A Nigerian national was arrested in Lenasia on Tuesday, March 29, after he was caught with R10 000 worth of drugs.
Lenasia SAPS received a tip off about the vehicle transporting drugs to a house in Lenasia .
“Upon investigating our members spotted the vehicle; stopped it and conducted a thorough search,” said Captain Hector Netshivhodza of the Lenasia SAPS.
The 28-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with possession of drugs.
According to Captain Netshivhodza of the Lenasia SAPS, the suspects appeared at the Protea Magistrate’s Court on March 30.
“The case was postponed for further investigation,” added Captain Netshivhodza.
