The man (pictured) is one of two men wanted for house robbery and rape which occurred on Saturday, February 27, at about 2am in Protea Glen, near Lenasia.
A 23-year-old woman was asleep in her house when the man and his accomplice entered the house through a window.
“The woman woke up and saw this man (pictured) next to her bed and screamed for help. She was threatened with a firearm and told to keep quite.” said Constable Vincent Mashiteng of the Protea Glen SAPS.
The suspects then raped the woman and took household items and fled the scene on foot.
“Please do not approach the suspect because he is armed and dangerous,” added Constable Mashiteng. Anyone with information must call the Investigating Officer, Detective Warrant Officer Ramotlou, on 082-825-1707.
